Showing your art with Untitled
is easy. All it takes is these very simple steps:
1. PAY
One week before the show. Mail a check or money order for $15, payable to Untitled to the following address (or just bring
it to a meeting). If you mail your fee, please be sure that it
is postmarked by the Friday before the show.
Please see our
Payment
Policies.

2. REGISTER
Payment does not equal registration. These are 2 different steps
to be in the show.
No later than midnight on the Sunday
before the show, visit www.untitlednashville.org and use the online
form to send in the title, dimensions and price of your piece. Each
artist or collaboration team may submit one piece. It can be any
size, any medium, and any price.
3. DROP OFF
The Wednesday before the show, bring your
piece to the designated drop-off point between 6:00 and 7:30 PM.
Sign in to make sure we know we have your work. Sign our
artist need to know form and confirm your volunteer shift(s).
Please make sure your work is ready
to hang. Why is this so important? Visit: UNTITLED's
Ready to Hang Guide
4. VOLUNTEER
Untitled is an
artist-run organization. We need your help! Volunteering
is a great way to learn skills, meet other artists, and gain access to
valuable resources. There are many ways to volunteer; see the
volunteer guide for more info. UNTITLED's
Volunteer Guide
Volunteering is not absolutely necessary and it's understood that not
all artists can volunteer, but please help out if you can. Your
help is always needed and appreciated.
5. GET PAID
If your art sells, pick up your money.
Untitled charges no commission, and if the buyer pays by check
or cash, you can pick it up the night of the show. If the buyer
uses a credit card, there will be roughly a 3% credit card fee,
depending on what type of credit card is used (which goes to
the credit card company, not Untitled), and you can pick up a check at
the Untitled meeting 2 weeks from the show.
You'll need to arrange for your buyer
to pick up your work at the end of the night, or you can arrange to
deliver it, if you prefer. If someone else is picking up your
work because you can't make it, please let them know that they are
responsible for communicating with the sales table and buyer about
pick-up.
6. PICK-UP
On the night of the show, if your piece
does not sell, you must take it down and take it home with you at
10:00 PM.
Untitled is not responsible for work left at the
venue.
That's it! No jury, no
pressure, no commission.
TIPS!
1.
The title of the show is just a
title, not necessarily a theme. However, many artists use this
title as their theme and inspiration to create their work. You
may do whatever you wish.
2.
Send in your images. If you
have an image ready for print send it to info@untitlednashville.org
for possible inclusion in our press release. We usually get some
press for the show and the press people like to use pictures.

3. Learn something new. Untitled
is a great experience and you will learn a lot. Sometimes it
will be hard work, but always fun and rewarding. Don't be afraid
to ask questions.
4. Work with your fellow artists and be
nice to one another. Untitled is about working together to make
a show happen.
