Spring Roll

Well, would you look at that! Spring Roll came back for the second year and finally won! So, you know what this means? It means that the poster contest has officially begun. If you’re not familiar with the poster contest, you can go here for the rules. Also, a quick run-down:
1. Create your poster. Submit it to info@untitlednashville.org by 7:30pm on Wed, February 8.
2. Your poster will be put alongside other poster contest submissions for a week online. Anyone can vote for their favorite poster.
3. The poster contest voting will end at 7:00pm on Wed, February 15. The winner will be announced at the meeting that night.
4. The winning poster design will be the poster for Untitled’s 2012 Spring Show: Spring Roll

Jan 18: Brainstorm Show Title (done!)
Jan 25: Title voting closed/Announce Show Title at meeting/Begin Poster contest (done!)
Feb 8: Submit poster for contest by 7:30pm / Open poster contest online voting
Feb 15: Poster voting concludes 7:00pm, announce winner at meeting
Feb 26: Spring Roll Registration opens online
Feb 28: Press image deadline
Mar 14: Last meeting before show/Last chance to pay at meeting
Mar 16: PO Box Mail Payment must be postmarked by today
Mar 18: Registration closes/PayPal payment by midnight
Mar 21: Drop off (6-7:30pm at venue)
Mar 22: Installation (8am to ?? All Day)
Mar 23: Spring Roll (6pm to 10pm)
Mar 24: Clean-up (10am to 1pm)

If you registered as an exhibiting artist, you should have received an email with drop-off instructions.

Please drop your work off at the venue in the time frame THIS WEDNESDAY! Make sure your name and contact information is somewhere on your piece!

Please enter the venue in the rear of the building and do not use the front wooden staircase.

Parking
There is parking behind the building off of 14th Avenue, just before Clinton Street. From Charlotte Avenue, take a right off 14th Avenue just before reaching Clinton Street. The building is on the corner of 14th and Clinton.

How to register:

1. Register online via the link above
2. Pay the $15 registration fee one of three ways: PayPal, via mail or at a meeting
3. PROMOTE! Share the poster, post on Facebook, and tell all of your friends and family you’re participating!
3. Bring your piece, ready to hang and with your name and title on it to drop-off Wednesday, December 7, at the venue from 6-7:30pm
4. Volunteer to help with the show and bring wine (or soft drinks) to drop-off.
5. Attend! Anti-Freeze is Friday, December 9, at Marathon Village from 6pm to 10pm
