WINTER
SHOW 2007: CHILL
Nashville's UNTITLED Artists' Group welcomes you to mellow out
and relax with the 'Live Art' inspiration of
"Chill", Friday, December 14th from 6 to 10 pm.
This free, one-night-only art event will be held at Layl'a Rul,
909 20th Ave S Nashville, TN 37212. Over 60 cool,
innovative and upcoming Nashville visual artists will make
your eyes shiver with interactive 'Live Art', dope paintings,
rad photography, and frosty mixed-media.
"Chill" is the latest in a series of successful
quarterly exhibitions that promise never to leave you pale
while supporting artistic innovation and alternative visual
arts in non-traditional spaces.
UNTITLED has introduced new artists to the community since
1991, is comprised of several hundred artists, and has left an
indelible stamp on the burgeoning Nashville art scene.
UNTITLED members include staff and exhibiting artists from
Zeitgeist, Dangenart, Plowhaus, Twist Gallery, and (fov)
gallery. UNTITLED members also include art faculty,
students, and graduates from Watkins College of Art and
Design, Belmont University, Vanderbilt University, Savannah
College of Art and Design, Lipscomb University, TSU, Fisk
University and MTSU.
"Chill" will take place Friday, December 14th from 6
to 10 p.m. at Layl'a Rul, 909 20th Ave S Nashville, TN 37212.
Moroccan delights abound at this poshly styled restaurant and
nightspot, where celebrity sightings are often freeze framed
in local and national media. Admission is free, and the
public is invited to hang out, meet and socialize with the
artists, all while viewing art and partaking in the creative
energy dubbed as 'Live Art'.
'Live Art' will be a special feature of the "Chill"
show, promoting creative interactivity between artists and
audience. All in attendance will be welcomed to
participate in this one of a kind engaging art experience!
Be a part of social engagement art, through a hands-on group
activity. As well, you may get a chance to be a part of
filming for the upcoming Untitled Documentary. Filming
of the latest exciting Untitled project will feature the
upcoming Spring show in 2008, and Untitled members are
actively recruiting, discussing, and planning this project
which will be submitted to local and national public
broadcasting stations.
Patrons may purchase artwork by cash, check or credit card and
may take their pieces home with them at 10pm that evening.

LIVE
ART
During the CHILL exhibition, you will have an opportunity to
express yourself and collaborate with artists and patrons.
This special feature of CHILL is open to all.
We encourage you to bring something to include in our LIVE ART
collaboration!
Here are some ideas: acrylic paint, handmade & decorative
papers, drawings on paper, markers, colored pencils, charcoal.
Please no oil based supplies!
We will supply some supplies such as acrylic paint, brushes,
paper, glue, etc. |

UNTITLED
Untitled is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting
artists, reaching new art audiences, and offering alternative visual
arts experiences in the Nashville community. The group's
meetings and shows provide opportunities for artists to connect,
collaborate and learn from each other.
All artists at all levels and in all media are invited to attend
weekly meetings at Kazu in Cummins Station, and to participate in
quarterly exhibitions. New artists are encouraged to show.
