About

Mission
Untitled provides opportunities for artists to show their work.
Untitled provides education for artists.
Untitled creates new audiences for the arts.
History
The large crowds Untitled shows attract evidence the diverse nature and longevity of the group. Untitled’s recent shows have included the work of over 120 regional artists–including art faculty, students, and graduates from Watkins College of Art & Design, Belmont University, Vanderbilt University, Tennessee State University, Fisk University, Lipscomb University and Middle Tennessee State University; staff and exhibiting artists from Zeitgeist, Dangenart, TAG Gallery, Twist Gallery, (fov) Gallery, Plowhaus, American Artisan, and independent artists from Nashville, Bowling Green, and the Middle Tennessee region. Untitled seeks new, non-traditional venues for each quarterly show to bring art to new spaces and new audiences. The group’s annual GLOW show, held in July, is a fundraiser featuring luminous and glow-in-the-dark art.
Untitled has recently launched a fully artist-administered grant program to help artists meet unexpected needs or take advantage of unique development opportunities. Untitled also sponsors workshops and education sessions for artists and community members.
Untitled also resources to help support other artists groups in Nashville. Please email info@untitlednashville.org if you’d like to learn more about how Untitled can work with other groups. The participation of artists and the generous support of many Nashville businesses and individuals helps Untitled to present exciting art events and expand its ability to generate creative community throughout middle Tennessee.
